High Park

Location: Toronto, Ontario

With over one million visitors annually, High Park is the jewel of Toronto's park system. It is the largest park entirely within Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It spans 161 hectares (398 acres, 1.61 kmē). It is a mixed recreational and natural park, with sporting facilities, cultural facilities, educational facilities, gardens, playgrounds and a zoo. Outdoor Sculpture: Three Disks, High Park

This photo is of an outdoor sculpture. Created by sculptor Menashe Kadishman, "Three Disks" consists of three yellow disks, each about 2.3 m in diameter, welded together at a 45 degree incline, with a total height of 5.4 m. Completed during the International Sculpture Symposium held in Toronto in 1967. Located immediately south of the High Park Forest School. Several more outdoor sculptures are located east of here. The area is now called Sculpture Hill.
