On the upper level of the valley there is also a lovely arboretum beside the children's Teaching Garden. This multifunctional garden is an interactive outdoor classroom with demonstration areas for courses and workshops for both adults and children. A straw-bale shed, compost bins, raised beds and borders located in both sun and shade are used to demonstrate gardening basics. Photo looking northeast.
