Presqu'ile Provincial Park

This photo is of the Marsh Boardwalk Trail information kiosk located in the trail's parking lot. The main text reads, "Mark Boardwalk Trail. Welcome to the Marsh Boardwalk Trail. This 1.2-kilometre loop interpretive trail will take you deep into the world of the marsh along an 800-metre boardwalk and then back along an old sandbar now covered by thick cedar forest. Two viewing towers provide panoramic views of the marsh, Presqu'ile Bay, and the north shoreline of the Presqu'ile peninsula. / Along the way a number of interpretive signs will introduce you to the changing world of the marsh and the creatures that call it home. Birds, insects, and plants not found elsewhere in the park can be common in this soggy landscape. / Whether you are out for a stroll, seeking birds, planning a picnic lunch at one of the two towers, or just looking to relax at one of the teaching platforms, the world of the marsh awaits you."
