The sign points eastward, indicating that the park entrance is reached by following Hwy 18 eastward. Be sure to turn left (eastward) at this sign. If you are following your GPS to "Sandbanks Provincial Park", your GPS may be telling you to continue southward along Hwy 12 -- ignore it and turn eastward here. If you were to continue south, you would end up at the Sandbanks Beach which is a smaller beach of the park.
