Art Starts inspires and cultivates social change in underserved neighbourhoods by bringing professional artists andTorontoresidents together to create community-building art projects in all artistic disciplines. For over 21 years, Art Starts programs have benefited people living in marginalizedTorontocommunities. We bring together professional artists with residents of all ages to create accessible and dynamic art projects that build life skills, capacity, knowledge and understanding, foster collaboration, and respond to local needs. All of our programs are free or low cost, enabling everyone, regardless of economic status to participate.
